We are MaryAnne & Ryan Ashley

…and along with our three kids, we have been living in Dublin, Ireland, since 2015. A part of Greater Europe Mission US, our ministry resides in four areas: serving the musician community, supporting local/regional ministries, creating environments for corporate worship, and striving to meet needs within Dublin’s inner-city communities. Ryan has also served as the Field Leader of the GEM Ireland & Northern Ireland teams and is currently the director of UrbanSoul, an Irish non-profit focused on ministering within Dublin’s city centre.

Aside from being a seasoned worship leader, MaryAnne is a trained mezzo-soprano and worked professionally as a featured soloist in many oratorios, theatrical productions, and orchestral concerts over the years. In Dublin, she tirelessly works as a worship leader, fundraising coach and mentor to both on-field and pre-field ministry workers, all over the world. Excelling in the ministries of hospitality and presence, MaryAnne intentionally cultivates safe environments where people feel comfortable enough to open up and share who they are, what they feel, and what they might fear. In those moments, deeper, spiritual conversations about life and faith begin to flourish.

Ryan began in church ministry, in 2001. Since then, he’s been a worship pastor, ministry coach, church consultant, and chaplain for a residential addiction recovery program. In 2010, he founded a network of musicians devoted to resourcing churches, fostering Reno’s worship culture, and moving missionally within the city’s music scene. Entirely a pastor at heart, he’s accrued a fair bit of experience in music, worship leading, production, cultural leadership, and organisational development—skillsets he continues to employ, almost daily.
